Our
Testimonials
“A few years ago our son Louis was diagnosed
with Autism on the Spectrum. It’s a day that we cannot and will
not forget. Since that day it has been our mission, as his
parents, to get him any help he needs, in order to overcome his
disorder. It has been a challenge getting and keeping the help
Louis and many children like him need. Louis’s pre-k and his
second school teacher were assets in the early years of his
school development. When Louis began attending Peace by Piece we
figured he was going to learn and move at the same pace in which
he had done with his previous school and teachers. We
were wrong! Louis has made so many strides since he
has been at Peace by Piece that WE can’t keep up with
him! In Louis’s 2nd month at Peace by Piece, Dr. T
came out to our car to share with us that Louis had read his
first book. HIS FIRST BOOK!!! It was just one of those
WOW moments you dream of”. In our life experiences
of having to deal with Autism it is refreshing to finally find
someone like Dr. Terrasi who has been able to offer us what we
not only want for our son but need for our son. When you see
and feel as much passion as the staff at Peace by Piece have
when dealing with their students, it is hard to imagine that the
school only opened this year. The staff at Peace by Piece not
only has the passion to teach our children but take the time to
teach us parents so that we can work with our children outside
of school. Their teaching method is something we cannot put
into words. It is something you just have to experience. We
cannot begin to express our deepest gratitude’s to the staff at
Peace by Piece but would like to extend a HUGE THANK YOU!!!!
Thank you for allowing all of Louis’s potential to shine. Thank
you for going above and beyond when teaching Louis. Thank you
for always raising the bar. Thank you for opening Peace by
Piece. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU”!!!!
~
Sincerely,
Louis and Family

“It has been a long and winding road
since our son's diagnoses of Autism. Since that time there
hasn’t been support or educated individuals that were able to
guide us down the proper path to help our son. That was until
we found Dr. Terrasi and Peace by Piece. Peace by Piece is the
BEST thing that has happened to our family and Southwest
Florida. Not only are the staff experienced with the proper
training on the best methods available, they also LOVE our kid.
We know this through the small amount of communication our son
can muster, at this point. He loves his time at Piece by Peace.
We couldn't ask for anything more. The changes in just a short
while have been astounding.

“Our son
Tanner has attended Piece by Piece for a little over a year now.
Peace by Piece has provided a place where I can feel comfortable
& confident that he is getting the best educational experience
that I can offer him. Dr. Terrasi and her staff have provided
Tanner with the tools for him to be able to reach his best
potential. They also have been able to "think outside the box"
which has really been beneficial in Tanner's learning
experience. I am happy to have found a place like Peace by Piece
for him”!!

“The last Monday in October was such an
exciting day for us; this was the first IEP meeting that I did
not leave in tears. I cannot express enough to you and your
staff how incredibly happy we are with your school and more
importantly how happy Dylan is. As you know Dylan attended
public school for two years. In these two years we saw very
little progress. It was a struggle to get him to school every
day and an even bigger struggle to make him stop talking about
not going to school. My mornings now are so very different than
the past. I am awakened everyday by a voice screaming “come on
Mom I need to go to school!” Although we are thrilled with his
progress (reading, spelling etc) we are mostly thrilled that our
little boy talks about his “friends” at school. For five years I
wanted him to have a friend and to truly understand the concept
of having a friend and what that means. Your staff has taught
Dylan and the other students what friendship means and how
important it is to have a friend and to be a friend. It does my
heart good when I pull up to the playground each morning and see
how happy all your students are and how happy they are to see
one another and for a moment I forget about Autism. It was a big
decision to leave the public school and to commute an hour from
Naples everyday but it is so worth it” !
Much love to Dr. Terrasi and her entire
staff, Jeannie and Joe
“My wife and I couldn’t be more pleased with
the results we are seeing with our son. He is studying spelling
words and taking spelling tests. Things the public school said
he would NEVER do. He is also attending and focusing so much
better. We consistently see improvement with Caleb's progress
and are extremely happy with Peace by Piece.
Thank you for everything you do!”

"I feel very blessed that my son Jacob has
had the opportunity to become a student at Peace by Piece. I
have found the staff to be deeply caring and genuinely devoted
to each individual student as their first priority. When you
couple this with their professional expertise and fine attention
to every detail, I personally feel I couldn't find a better
school for my son anywhere on the globe right now! Thank you
for your integrity, your knowledge, and your true heart. You
all mean the world to me and to Jacob."

“Piece by Peace has been a God Send for my
son, Daniel. He is finally receiving the behavioral therapy he
so desperately needed. He receives expert specialized
instruction from compassionate and devoted people, who have a
passion for helping children like Daniel, and their families.
The fact that the school is in session all year is unique to Lee
County. The opportunity for these very special kids to continue
to receive their therapies and instruction throughout the summer
is priceless.
The teacher/student ratio, and the balanced
curriculum including academics specific to the child with
instruction specific to children with Autism, including ABA,
offers possibilities for success that can’t be found in other
educational setting”.
